Hello

Autumn has come here in ZRH, and there have been quite a few goodies over the last weeks. I will post some over the next days, but here is one from Sept. 9th, 2008, a really good one I think:

Like I said, I will post more during the week!

Hello everyone...

Wanted to say that I am still alive ouu

Winter is coming in with rain and some snow mixed in, but not too much sun lately. With the winter, the WEF is approaching as well. Here are some infos for those interested:

- The observation deck on Terminal B has been closed recently: This Terminal will be rebuilt and once finished, serve as a Schengen-Terminal. The one on Dock E is also closed.

- Fortunately, the Observationdeck on Dock E will be reopened just in time for the WEF

- Tours will be running from Deck E... I will be one of your Tourguides again. Hopefully, some of you will show up. You simply have to take a (av) from (band) and you'll be fine!

Even though the Decks are closed, spotting is still possible here (as a matter of fact, I haven't been on one of the decks for ages). Here are some from the last weekend.

Swiss is still using this once for Lufthansa planned A330. It is seen departing from RMY 16 from the Heligrill (oppsite from the old deck)

A big surprise was to see this An-2 in motion. It has been stored at ZRH for quite a few months and suddendly came back to life last weekend

The approaches to RWY's 14 and 16 are still a good place to be... Afternoons can be marvelous when the sun is shining

The large parking garages are the place to be when you don't have a car. these have been seen from parking garage 3:

And of course, one from the spot on the parking garage overlooking the threshold of RWY 28:

Edit: Sorry, missed one: Air Canada is flying on behalf of Swiss on their rotations to Montreal until December 15th, using their A330's

That's it for tonight, friends. Have a good one!

!
Hello,

I heard that Swiss left ZRH-YUL route. Is this permanent, or will they retake the route on summer?

I remember when Swiss 330 landed on runway 24R in Montreal. Great rememberings

See ya...

Hello Michael

Good to hear from you again. And some great stuff you have showned us today! :D

As for (band) presence at the Tours, you can count with a presence of some of ours members on the 30th and 31st of January tours. Are the tickets already available? I'm looking forward to get back to ZRH

Not yet, but I have received my tour schedule today and there will be 6 tours on both days you mentioned. I will be a Tourguide on quite a few of them and I hope I'll see some of you guys there.
