Strategic Airlines (France) (Paris) is being grounded on Wednesday (September 15) by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) which is not renewing its AOC according to this report below by the French newspaper TourHebdo. The airline received its AOC on August 13, 2009. The charter airline was operating two older Airbus A320s (F-GSTR, msn 436 and F-GSTS, msn 420).

The company has had some well-publicized delays and cancellations lately.

Strategic Airlines is a subsidiary of Strategic Airlines (Australia) (Brisbane) which will continue to operate.
